I'm back...

21 April 2006

You know you missed me or I should say the pictures of my precious babies! I've got tons of pictures, but I won't share them all. This has been a crazy, I mean CRAZY month! Let's see, where do I start...

- You know about the new dog

- Steve took his GRE on the 1st so that he can commence his master's program on May 8th. 2 more years of school and I pray that will be the end!

- play practice...many, many hours of play practice for Easter play. We performed Friday and Saturday night and then Sunday morning. Steve was the high priest and the boys and I were crowd members. Lots of fun, lots of hours and lots of memories!

- in between play practice and plays, we managed to tear up the carpet in the living room and hall and put down hardwood floor. chris came over bright and early to help us and then his family showed up late morning. I love the way the new floor looks!

- Eliana turned 4 months old and with that came a doctor's appointment. She weighed in at 14 lbs. 7 oz and is 24" long. She had to get 3 shots and she was amazing with those! The first time she screamed and screamed and the only thing that got her to stop is when I put my boob in her mouth. LOL This time I didn't even know she got the first 2 shots until the nurse told me. FYI, I don't like needles, can't even look at them! So, I have to bury my face or hide it with my hair, but since she's got a super death grip, I leave my hair up so that she can't get it. Anyway, back to the shots. She cried on the 3rd one and as soon as I picked her up, she was done. What a trooper!

- Eliana can sit up by herself, although her favorite position is standing. I took a picture of her so that everyone would believe me. She sat there for 5 minutes!

- Eliana had her first Easter and the boys had their first Easter Egg hunt (with a bunch of other kids). And this was the first year we didn't do one at home. The got to look for their basket, enjoy some goodies and then got to hunt thousands of eggs at Nelson Park. Zachary, in typical fashion, was slow and bashful. I had to walk with him (while trying to take pictures) and tell him what to do and I even picked up a couple. Of course, it didn't help that some parents were a little pushy and actually doing it for their kids. But Christian, when told to go get eggs, did not hesitate. He filled it to the top! Eliana got her first egg too, but I'm a mean mom and did not let her enjoy what was in it.

- Christian's coach FINALLY called us. We start practicing on Monday. Almost 2 months since I signed him up, it's about time! Unfortunately, I think Steve is going to miss a bunch of games since his classes will be at night and they are not online anymore.

- My parents came by for a 2 hour visit on Wednesday, on their way to St. Louis. Brought Christian his birthday presents. Can't believe he's almost 6!

- and out biggest time eater has been the website for our chruch. Steve is designing it, but I've been doing all the pictures and the banners (except the homepage). So, when you're bored with nothing else to do, check it out. The link is on the right.

Now, since my hubby is gone until late tonight, I have baths to give, stories to read and children to put to bed!
